Great match. Worth the download. Thought the ending was debatable until someome explained to me, how a Jr vs a Heavyweight need to end, so it won’t hurt anyone’s image, especially when you’re going against a veteran in the game like Akiyama.

This is as brutal as it can get! One the BEST matches of Shibata.
Watch Shibata in this match, and imagine him giving up pro wrestling the very next year! What a waste of talent!
Akiyama and Shibata do not spare each other. At the very beginning, Shibata gives Akiyama a SICK KICK to the head, which makes him bleed profusely, and it has ONLY started from there. Mayhem ensues as Akiyama goes batt shit crazy and starts throwing chairs at Shibata, throwing him on the announce table (in front of Takayama, lol) and absolutely destroying him with chair shots!! This is AKIYAMAYISM for you!!
Highlight for me would be the exchange of exploders and suplexes between the two! You can see the sweat spray off their bodies!
