Well oh well, you can’t say that Kobashi and his protégé Shiozaki didn’t have an EPIC chop battle against each other! That alone is enough to make you wanna check this match out. Kobashi schooling Shiozaki in the most brutal way. Shiozaki held his own and looked absolutely great.
Another plus of this match is KENTA vs Shiozaki, major asskicking! Also Takayama against anyone, even his own team mate Shiozaki!!
Minuses: Honda & Sano. No disrespect but they added absolutely nothing to this match, which would have been way better without them. Useless spots, that could’ve been filled with more KENTA vs Takayama or Shiozaki vs Kobashi or any other combo. And it doesn’t help that they chose to end the match with Sano pinning Honda. It felt like unfinished business imo.
Anyway, the match has some great moments that totally make up for the flaws. If you know who Kenta Kobashi and Go Shiozaki are, you need to check their epic chop battle. Doesn’t get any better than a student trying to outdo his teacher!
